Hello everyone! I’m Joel Tony, and I’m excited to share my progress update on the Drishti project as part of my Google Summer of Code (GSoC) experience. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been diving deep into the world of I/O visualization for scientific applications, and I’m thrilled to tell you about the strides we’ve made.

Namaste everyone! 🙏🏻 I’m Joel Tony, a third-year Computer Science undergraduate at BITS Pilani, Goa, India. I’m truly honored to be part of this year’s Google Summer of Code program, working with the UC OSPO organization on a project that genuinely excites me.

Drishti is a novel interactive web-based analysis framework to visualize I/O traces, highlight bottlenecks, and help understand the I/O behavior of scientific applications. Drishti aims to fill the gap between the trace collection, analysis, and tuning phases.
